Which Training Style is Right For You?

Whether you’re new to fitness, or looking for a new challenge, finding a training style you enjoy is the difference between finding it a chore and enjoying movement.

It’s so much easier to create & stick to a workout routine when it works for you. Remember motivation goes, so finding the right training style is so important.

Whether you’re beginner, intermediate or advanced we have so many guides or challenges for you.

Strength training
So many women in the WeGLOW Community love strength training, and it’s not hard to see why! There are plenty of strength training options available in the App for at-home and gym-based workouts, whether that’s with our founder and head trainer Stef, or our incredible US trainer Alex.

High-intensity training
You’ll find lots of HIIT style training in the App. High-intensity interval training can be done anywhere, using just your bodyweight. It’s a fantastic way to get an effective workout done in a short amount of time, and you don’t need equipment to get started.

You’ll find this style of training often includes plyometrics (aka jumping exercises) and explosive movements that get your heart rate up quickly. With workouts typically between 20 and 45 minutes, this fast-paced style of training involves short, intense bursts of movement.

Yoga
Focus on your mind and body connection through controlled breathing, or try some faster-paced Vinyasa styles of yoga. Or our other guides include relaxed Yin yoga and elements of meditation. When it comes to Yoga, we have something for everyone.

Pilates
From improved posture, to better core control, to endorphins; Pilates is an amazing way to rejuvenate your body. It’s also a great way to help you keep consistency in your routine too, as one of the best parts about Pilates is you can do it from anywhere.

So why not try all of the above in our brand new challenge Strong & Healthy, find a movement or movements  you truly love and can stick to long term, this 6 week challenge is the perfect way to incorporate high and low intensity training into your schedule.

Oh and there might be a new movement coming very soon…

See you on the mat, team!
